IZEA Community: Help Ted Murphy Get to SXSW
If you’re not familiar with SXSW, it’s a well-respected music/film/interactive festival that takes place in Austin, Texas every Spring. The interaction festival at SXSW has received much attention over the past few years, and has become a “who’s who” in the interactive & social media spaces.
We need your help–along with the help of your blog buddies–to get Ted a speaking spot on the 2010 program agenda. You can do that by clicking here and voting for Ted. As one of the leaders in the social media marketing space he would be an ideal speaker for such an event, and an opportunity to reach a new audience. Voting plays an important role in the selection of speakers and panelists at SXSW – about 30% in the selection process, actually. The following video helps explain this process in greater detail:

Ted is a compelling force whose presence (given the chance) to be one of the panelists can be highly significant to all of us and IZEA in general. I didn't mind creating an account just for my vote to be counted. It'll be all worth it in the end, that's for sure.
