Although you can write about anything, most bloggers have a few topics or themes about which they write regularly such as news, entertainment, gardening, sports, pets, etc. The most interesting bloggers are those that write frequently about what interests them. Blogs can cover any topic that you can conceive of. Your best bet is to pick a few topics that you are interested in or passionate about.

If you want to start making money from your blog it is best to get your own domain (www.yourname.com) and host your blog yourself. This is going to cost you some money. We suggest GoDaddy.com, you can use discount code BLOGGER10 to save 10% on a domain registration.

I noticed that you suggest godaddy to host a blog. What of justhost.com, bluehost.com or dreamhost.com? I see justhost.com has a 3.95/mo. special promo with unlimited GB's space and transfer. Would you recommend justhost.com?

This blog was very informative Thank you. But as always nothing is free you have to spend money to make. If I had it to spend on getting started I might consider doing this. I have a disabled daughter and working this from home would have been perfect for me.
