Position Overview
IZEA is seeking a Lead Recruiter with excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, self-confidence and a high sense of urgency to match our fast-paced work environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to confirm job requirements, competencies, selection criteria, salary budget, interview teams and creation of search strategy.
- Execute comprehensive and innovative recruiting strategies to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates in a timely manner.
- Establish a pipeline of candidates for future openings through a variety of staffing approaches including Linkedin, Networking, Employee and Candidate Referral, as well as, company and general recruitment websites.
- Conduct phone screens and preliminary interviews of candidates that meet the requirements and submit acceptable candidates.
- Provide exceptional customer service to designated hiring managers communicating consistently with updates.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 3+ years of professional recruiting.
- Expertise in marketing, advertising, and information technology fields. Complimentary background in information technology and entertainment is a plus!
- Proven ability to deliver and achieve results in a fast paced, dynamic and changing environment.
- Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work in an environment with competing demands.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence others.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
