I can’t believe that IZEAFest is only a couple of weeks away. I am feeling an odd mix of excitement and nervousness. I know that the event is going to be incredible, but there are still plenty of things to take care of. We are going through our checklist here and you should be going through your check list as well.
I have taken some time to put together a little list of things to bring for you guys:
1. Your face
People are going to want to talk to your face. Last year a few people left their face at home and it was really awkward. DO NOT forget your face.
2. Business cards
IZEAFest is packed with great networking opportunities. You could meet a future friend, lover, business partner or podiatrist. Business cards are a great way to help people remember you and connect after the event.
3. Pants
As much as I hate pants it can get a little chilly in Florida in October. If you are one of those super skinny people that is always cold bring a pair of pants. Give the weather a check before you come, better safe than cold.
4. Sunscreen
Even when it is cold the sun is kickin’ in Florida. It’s best to cover up with a little sun protection, especially when we take over SeaWorld on Sunday.
5. Your computer
We will have WiFi and power at the event. Feel free to connect and live blog away.
6. Clothes you don’t care about
The 2nd Annual IZEAHunt is on Saturday night and it is gonna get messy! This is one of the highlights of the event, if you want to participate expect your clothes to get trashed.
7. Pain relievers
ICEBar Orlando, Howl at the Moon…I am just trying to help you out here.
8. Digital imaging device
Assuming that everyone remembers their face you may decide you want to capture those faces for later face viewing. If you have a waterproof camera or video camera I suggest bringing that for IZEAHunt.
9. A great attitude
We are going to learn, laugh and meet new people. Leave any negative attitude in the hamper at home.

Speaking of faces, I think we all should have TedHead faces to wear during IZEAHunt just in case we get in, or cause any trouble…
LOL – imagine 150 ‘Ted’s’ running around downtown Orlando gathering straws, rolls of toilet paper, & asking strangers for favors!
That could be a LOT of fun
Your list was good but man, my list so much the better!

Hmm, I had commented here about how my Top 10 List kicks some major butt for IZEAFest. Must not have posted.
love the pants idea, it’s always a good idea to cover up when out in public
I was really stoked until I read the part about needing to wear pants. But I’m TOTALLY bringing my face. Look out, IZEAFest, Orlando, and SeaWorld (especially YOU, Shamu!), Dave is coming to rock your FACE OFF.
Shamu doesn’t wear pants, so why should we?!
Just registered today and am so excited about IZEAFest! Thanks for the What To Bring list. I am on it and love wearing pants!!
